Official Visit by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco to the Netherlands

The Sovereign Prince will make an official visit to the Netherlands on 3 and 4 June 2014.

 

H.S.H the Prince will travel to The Hague to take part in working meetings with the President of the Senate, H.E. Mme Ankie BROEKERSKNOL, the President of the Chamber of Representatives, Mme Anouchka Van Miltenburg, and the Prime Minister, H.E. M. Mark RUTTE.

The meetings will consider the institutional systems of the Principality and of the Netherlands, their relationships with the European Union and topical matters.

 

H.S.H the Prince will then participate in the signature of a "Framework - Arrangement" with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and an agreement between the VNO-NCW Business and Employers Federation and the Chambre de Développement économique de Monaco at the NO-NCW Federation headquarters. The President of the Chambre de Développement économique de Monaco, M. Michel DOTTA, will be accompanied by a delegation of business leaders from the Principality. During the course of the day the members of the delegation will meet their Dutch counterparts with the aim of developing bilateral economic relations.

 

At the end of the afternoon H.S.H. the Prince and H.M. the King of the Netherlands will inaugurate the ‘Grace Kelly: Princess and Style Icon’ exhibition which is to be held at the Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn. H.M. the Queen of the Netherlands will then join them to attend the official dinner given in honour of the Sovereign Prince’s visit.

 

On 4 June the Sovereign Prince will visit the premises of the Boskalis organisation and the Philips high-tech campus to discuss economic and environmental issues specifically associated with the activities of two organisations.
