Since Québec is now represented at UNESCO, cooperation with Monaco in the framework of this organisation becomes possible.

The Québec government's strong commitment to environmental protection makes this issue a subject of common interest.

During the celebration of the 400th Anniversary of Québec in Monaco, from 5 to 14 December 2008, a special week should be dedicated to Québec in the Principality.
