On Monday morning H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince will attend the Oceans Day opening ceremony at the European Environment Agency then make a speech to mark the first series of
debates on the impact of climate change on the oceans, coasts and small developing islands.
He will go on to attend a meeting on the CBFF (Congo Basin Forest Fund) where He will preside over the signature of a MOU (memorandum of understanding) between the CBFF and the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco before the start of the « Climate Group » round table on electric vehicles. Shortly afterwards the Sovereign will hold an audience with Mr. James BALOG, specialist photographer and Mr. MILLER, Mayor of Toronto.
At the end of the day, He will take part in a working dinner on the theme « Energy, Climate and the Millennium Development Goals » in the company of the prominent figures
participating in Oceans Day.
On Tuesday, after the signature of an MOU between the Fondation Prince Albert II and the « Climate Group », H.S.H. the Prince will address the « Climate leaders' summit » after Mr. Ban KI MOON, Secretary general of the UN and Mr. Arnold SCHWARZENEGGER, Governor of California. In the afternoon He will make a second speech to the « ASPEN Artic Commission » meeting.
On Thursday afternoon, the Sovereign Prince will make a speech to the COP 15 assembly at the Bella Center. In the evening, the Sovereign will attend a Gala dinner for Heads of State and Government hosted by Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark and the Prince Consort.
On the final day of the Summit, H.S.H. the Prince will attend the Bella Center then take part in the lunch hosted by the Danish Prime Minister Mr. Lars Lokke Rasmussen.
