On 12 March, the Sovereign will attend the inauguration of the Congress alongside many personalities like French Prime Minister François Fillon, and former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.
The Sovereign will return on 14 March to take part in a side event, co-organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Blue Plan, Veolia Environnement, International Office for Water and Unitar. The work undertaken by the Mediterranean Water Think Tank will be presented on this occasion.
Themes addressing public and private water management will be largely discussed in the workshops to be held from 12 to 17 March, with over 20,000 participants awaited.
