Saint Patrick's day

 Picture : Saint Patrick's day

To celebrate Saint Patrick's Day and reassert the ties of friendship between Ireland and the Principality of Monaco, HSH Prince Albert will attend a harp concert organised by the Princess Grace Irish Library at the Visitation Chapel from 7pm to 7:45pm on Saturday 17 March 2012.

The Sovereign will then light up the façade of the Palace of Monaco in green, the colour symbolic of this Christian Feast, alongside HE Paul Kavanagh, ambassador of Ireland in Paris and Monaco, on the Palace Square.
This moment of conviviality accompanied by Irish music will open to the public at approximately 7:45pm.

* TSH the Prince and Princess conducted a State visit to Ireland in April 2011. He had taken advantage of this occasion to visit the home of Princess Grace's grandfather in County Mayo. This trip underscored Prince Albert II's attachment to his Irish roots.
