H.S.H. Prince Albert II, member of the IOC since 1985 and President of the Monaco Olympic Committee is in Lausanne today in order to take part in the Extraordinary IOC Session.

The IOC members will vote on the host city for the Youth Olympic Games in 2018 (Buenos Aires, Glasgow and Medellin). The applications of the candidate cities for the 2020 Olympic Games - Istanbul (Turkey), Tokyo (Japan) and Madrid (Spain) will be presented to members, along with the six competing candidates (Richard Carrión, Ser Miang Ng, Thomas Bach, Ching-Kuo Wu, Denis Oswald and Sergey Bubka) for the Presidency of this committee.

Elections will take place at the 125th Session of the IOC in Buenos Aires from 4th to 10th September 2013.
