On Saturday 2nd July, at around 6.30pm, after the religious wedding, the couple will travel to Saint Dévote Church in a specially-converted hybrid vehicle. Crowds will be able to greet the couple all along the route of the procession.
A short ceremony will take place in the presence of the couple, Msgr. Bernard Barsi, the Archbishop of Monaco, Msgr. Fabrice Gallo, the Vicar of the Church of Sainte Dévote and Father César Penzo, Canon of the Saint John the Baptist Parish of the Palace.
Mrs Marie-Clotilde Würz-De Baets, soprano, and her 11-year old daughter Miss Juliette de Baets, will perform a song in honour of the Virgin.
H.S.H. Princess Charlene will then leave her wedding bouquet on the altar of the Virgin.
The square in front of the Sainte Dévote Church will be decorated with floral representations of the Monegasque and South African flags. Parishioners of the different churches of the Principality will attend this event.
The public will be able to follow the live broadcast of the mass of the religious wedding via a giant screen located on the square.|
