HSH Prince Albert II participated in the International BioMarine Convention at the Convention Centre in Nantes, on Friday 9 September.
This Convention gathers industry decision makers, scientists, political officials, journalists and personalities from civil society. Its purpose is to promote networking among these players to find new concrete solutions from the oceans in favour of sustainable development.
These meetings provided an opportunity to discuss the most advanced technologies and the economic models developing around bioresources and renewable energy from the sea.
The Sovereign then attended a Benefit Dinner for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation at Château de la Pigossière.
Since it was created in 2006, the Prince Albert II Foundation has supported over 150 projects all over the world.
