HSH Prince Albert II in Saragossa for the ‘Zaragoza 2008’ International Exhibition

For National Monegasque Day, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco went to Saragossa to visit the ‘Zaragoza 2008’ International Exhibition around the theme ‘Water and sustainable development’.

HSH the Ruling Prince was greeted by Beatriz Corredor, the Spanish Housing Minister, and Dr Emilio Fernández-Castaño, Curator of the Exhibition, at the Convention Centre Auditorium.

In the late morning, the Ruling Prince visited the Pavilions of Monaco, France and Spain. After the visit, He was invited to a lunch organized by the Spanish authorities.

In the afternoon, at the ‘Water Tribune' Pavilion, an MoU was signed between the Albert II Foundation, the ONE DROP Foundation and its partners, RBC and Oxfam, to implement a three-year project for access to drinking water in Honduras.

In the evening, the Prince attended a performance by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo followed by a dinner in the presence of Spanish personalities.
