Press release - death of Mrs Elizabeth-Ann de Massy

Mrs Elizabeth-Ann de Massy, first cousin of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, daughter of Princess Antoinette of Monaco, passed away in the Principality in the evening of Wednseday June 10, in her 73rd year, at the Princess Grace Hospital.

She was very attached to the traditions of the Principality and regularly took part in events bringing together all generations.

In addition, she was President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation, the Monte-Carlo Country Club and was very involved in the protection of animals in her capacity as President of the Société Protectrice des Animaux et Abri de Monaco and the Société Canine de Monaco.

Like her mother, she was attentive to the status of women in the Principality through the Union of Monegasque Women.

Mrs de Massy leaves behind two children and a grandson.

Information regarding the funeral to be held in Monaco Cathedral in the middle of next week will be communicated later.

The chapel of rest will be open to the public at the Chapel of the Palace of Monaco from Saturday 13 June between 14h00 and 17h00 and from 09h00 to midday and from 14h00 to 17h00 on other days.
