Visit by H.S.H. Prince Albert II to the two Covid-19 serological screening centres

On Tuesday 26 May, H.S.H. Prince Albert II visited the two Covid-19 serological screening centres which allow the population of Monaco, and soon employees, to be tested free of charge.

Located at the Espace Léo Ferré and the Grimaldi Forum, these two centres have welcomed more than 6,500 people since the beginning of this campaign; 200 have tested positive but have not developed the disease.

Prince Albert wanted to set an example by being tested himself using the TROD technique (Diagnostic Orientation Rapid Test); he contracted the disease last March and is now fully recovered.

The Sovereign reminded everyone of the importance of coming in large numbers to be tested and declared "we will have to wear masks and respect social distancing for some time to come".
