Solidarity visit by Prince Albert II to the communes of Roquebillière and Saint-Martin-Vésubie

Having just returned from an official two-day trip to Serbia (7 and 8 October 2020), H.S.H. Prince Albert II took off by helicopter on the afternoon of 9 October from Monaco Heliport to the towns of Roquebillière and Saint-Martin-Vésubie in order to show the local authorities and inhabitants His support, as well as that of the Principality of Monaco.

The Sovereign was accompanied on this visit by H.E. Mr Pierre Dartout, His Minister of State, Mr Bernard Gonzalez, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, Mr Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council and Colonel Tony Varo, High Commander of the Public Force.

Upon His return, the Sovereign Prince met with journalists. He made a point of reaffirming that Monaco would provide material and financial aid to the Roya, Tinée and Vésubie valleys, where the Monegasque Red Cross, the Princess Grace Hospital, the Cardio-Thoracic Centre and the Fire Brigade are already active in the field alongside associations and individuals from the Principality.
