Covid- 19 Inauguration of the new vaccination centre at the Grimaldi Forum

Late in the morning of Monday 25 January, H.S.H. Prince Albert II inaugurated the new Covid-19 vaccination centre, located at the Grimaldi Forum.

Accompanied by H.E. Pierre Dartout, Minister of State, Didier Gamerdinger, Government Counsellor - Minister of Social Affairs and Health and Stéphane Valery, President of the National Council, the Sovereign Prince was able to discover the Ravel area of the Grimaldi Forum, which was set up in less than a week for the purpose. This larger space allows medical teams to carry out up to 600 vaccinations per day.

The Espace Léo Ferré located in Fontvieille, which until now hosted the "vaccinodrome", will henceforth be used solely for Covid-19 screening (PCR tests).

To date, 4,000 Monegasques and residents have already been vaccinated, with the first injections in Monaco starting on 31 December last year.
