In the context of His travels to regions of France with strong historic ties with the Principality, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco will visit Les Baux-de-Provence on Saturday 21 July 2012.
The Sovereign will see the photographic exhibition D'un Rocher à l'autre (From one Rock to another) organised as a tribute to Princess Grace by the weekly magazine Paris-Match.
He will then inaugurate Place Rainier-III-de-Monaco in the village.
The Marquisate of Baux was given by the French King Louis XIII to Prince Honoré II of Monaco for his son in accordance with Article IX of the Treaty of Péronne signed on 14 September 1641.
HSH Prince Albert II, Marquis of Baux, was given the keys to the city during His visit there with Princess Grace in 1982.
