HSH Prince Albert II will be on an official trip to Turkey on Tuesday 6 November and Wednesday 7 November 2012.
On 6 November in Ankara, the Sovereign will participate in placing a wreath at the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and visit the Atatürk and War of Independence Museum.
The Prince will then go to the Presidential Palace to meet with the President of the Republic of Turkey, HE Abdullah Gül.
After this meeting, He will have a working luncheon with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, before visiting the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations. He will then attend an official dinner offered by the President of the Republic of Turkey.
On 7 November in Istanbul, the Sovereign will be present at the opening of a meeting between members of the Chambers of Economic Development of Istanbul and the Principality (see appendix: Press release from the CDE on business leaders from Monaco participating in this trip). He will also give a speech at Boğaziçi University on the theme of the environment before attending a cocktail party organised by His Foundation to develop opportunities for synergy on projects linked to sustainable development with Turkish authorities and personalities.
