H.S.H Princess Charlène visits the Charles III college

Following Her visit to the Saint Charles School and the Monte-Carlo crèche on 11th November, H.S.H. Princess Charlene once again wished to meet the Principality's children by going to the Charles III College on Friday 16th December 2011.

Welcomed by Mr Paul Masseron, Government Minister for the Interior and by the establishment's director Mrs Marie-Hélène Gamba, the Princess, accompanied by Mrs Isabelle Bonnal, Director of National Education, Youth and Sports, visited various classes.  During Her visit, Princess Charlene had a discussion with pupils who were working on the subject "One thing I love about Monaco and one thing that I like least and my future hopes and dreams for the Principality".
The school children were free to write an essay or poem, draw a picture or prepare a video message. Her Highness took a look at these productions and was very interested in the opinions and hopes of Monaco's young people.

This visit ended with a mass attended by Princess Charlene and celebrated by Father Bill inside the building.

In the evening, the Princess also took part in the Christmas celebrations with the children of the staff at the Prince's Palace, before flying to Germany.

Indeed, tomorrow, the Princess will be guest of honour for the annual broadcast "Ein Hertz fur die Kinder" live, at 8.15pm on ZDF in Berlin, and on this occasion will be awarded the "Golden Heart" for her humanitarian commitment to disadvantaged children.
In the past, this honour has been awarded to personalities such as Jane Fonda, George Clooney and Prince Harry.
