On 13 July 2016 Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the gala christening of Seven Seas Explorer serving as godmother of the ship. The event was held on the Port Hercule in the Principality of Monaco.
Joining H.S.H. Princess Charlene at the ceremony was world renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who took the stage for a spectacular 40-minute performance during the event. Bocelli’s beautiful serenade was a fitting send-off for a ship that sets a new benchmark for luxury.
