Friday 29 November, H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, President of Fight Aids Monaco (FAM), attended the display of memorial quilts held at the Oceanographic Museum.
In advance of World Aids Day on 1 December, the association – which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year - organised, as it has done in previous years, its tribute ceremony for those people lost to the disease.
In displaying the quilts – huge pieces decorated by all those affiliated with Fight Aids – the association paid tribute to the victims of HIV.
Alongside H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, among others, were Didier Gamerdinger, Government Advisor and Minister for Social Affairs and Health, Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, Vice President of the National Council and the Ambassador of A.S. Monaco, M Ludovic Giuly.
A minute’s silence was observed in memory of the deceased.
